We are currently working in v15. For every direct mail piece, I import the list into Tessitura, and promote the list in Appeals.
I would like to be able to see
I know I can track an Appeal Response, but that only shows if the brochure was attributed to the sale. Is there another way?

Hi Tracy! I do exactly this in Analytics, using a dashboard we've created for response reporting. Rather than focus on the appeal, I use the List as a filter.

Where do you find the list as a filer? I am having trouble locating that. I only see it under constituents. Is that what you are using?
Hello! Yes, on the right-hand side, when you go to add a filter and search "List," it comes up under the Constituent options. We're in v16 but this was an option in v15 as well.
