List Manager in v16

Hi

This might be a really simple thing (sorry) but does anyone know how to enable users at a lower permission user group level to generate lists created by a System Administrator? All my new lists made since we went into v16 are only viewable by other users unless they sign in as system administrator? When I log in using a lower level user group, I can still generate and access them presumably because I am the creator. They can copy the list and then generate it but surely there should be a way to give them access to generate my original list. Is there a security object I am missing somewhere? Although I dont necessarily want them to be able to edit the list, only generate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • We are also in v16 (new users, never used v15) - I talked with support about a similar issue with reports and was told it is expected behavior: "Per our documentation, if a user is logged in to Tessitura as a member of a user group with system administrator rights, they will be able to see parameter sets from all users. Regular users will only see their own parameter sets."  I can't be sure but would imagine what you are seeing in Lists is a similar type of expected functionality.  I'd be interested to see what support says about it.

I also agree, I wish users from non system admin groups could see and run lists and reports that I setup for them.  It would be a lot easier than having to find a time to walk them through creating the lists and reports on their own.
