Hi everyone,
Here in the Perth Tessitura Consoritum we're talking about the ability to do triggered emails for abandoned carts. I know it was quite a hot topic a few years ago but I haven't really heard much about it for a while.
Who of you are using abandoned cart triggered emails, and how successful is it for you? It seems there's a bit of work involved to get the triggered emails set up, so is it worth us exploring this further based on your experience?
Thanks in advance
Nancy
We do it.
We send out a generic email at 6.30pm each night and we find it quite successful as people are usually second-screening, or at home where they have more time to proceed with checkout. Our customer service team are also available at this time to assist with any enquiries.
We have a ~40% open rate.

It wasn't hard to set up at all!
Cheers

- thank you for sharing your example. The 6:30pm drop time makes perfect sense, I like the wording in your message as well. And you're doing that through WordFly...or are you using some other form of triggered messaging software?
Hi Christine, we use Wordfly's Triggered Email setup, yep. We use Wordfly's standard setup but I have modified it very slightly to accommodate a consortium environment: https://support.wordfly.com/hc/en-us/articles/204768604-How-do-I-build-an-Abandoned-Cart-Triggered-Campaign-list-
This is great, thank you so much!
