Here in the Perth Tessitura Consoritum we're talking about the ability to do triggered emails for abandoned carts. I know it was quite a hot topic a few years ago but I haven't really heard much about it for a while.
Who of you are using abandoned cart triggered emails, and how successful is it for you? It seems there's a bit of work involved to get the triggered emails set up, so is it worth us exploring this further based on your experience?

Hi, We also do an abandoned cart email. We pass in from Tessitura into the email, the product name that they abandoned, and in some cases based on the product that they abandoned, we will pass into the email a small discount for that performance. It is one of our better automation emails that we run. We will also take that Tessitura product name and put it in the subject line of the email as well. So it sort of gives that real feel abandonment like you might get from Amazon.com or a service like that. If anyone would like to see an example, just let me know.
