Selling tickets via API/3rd party ticket sites

Hi everyone,

We are exploring selling tickets via API through Tripadvisor and some of the other companies listed here on Tessitura's list of "alternative sales channels".

https://www.tessituranetwork.com/en/Services/Partnerships/Alternative-Sales-Channels

  • CityPass
  • Goldstar
  • Ingresso
  • SeatGeek
  • StubHub
  • TodayTix
  • Travelzoo
  • TripAdvisor
  • VetTix

Are any of you selling tickets through API with any of these companies? Or, have you attempted to but found obstacles (internal, union box office, etc.)?

I'd love to speak with you.

Thanks,

  • Hi Neighbor.

We sell tickets using an API for TodayTix and Goldstar.  During several union negotiations ago we won the right to pursue API connections to advance ticketing functionality.  Eventually, I'd like to pursue some other platforms.  I believe Seat Geek maybe a no go since this is owned by TopTix and direct competitors with Tess. The implementation got pulled from us due to conflict of interest. I could be wrong.  As far as Ingresso, they work directly with Groupon/TravelZoo/TripAdvisor/We Plan and a whole lot more. They will make the introduction with these vendors and you negotiate with them directly.  Hit me up for coffee and we can discuss.
