We are exploring selling tickets via API through Tripadvisor and some of the other companies listed here on Tessitura's list of "alternative sales channels".

Are any of you selling tickets through API with any of these companies? Or, have you attempted to but found obstacles (internal, union box office, etc.)?

We use TodayTix and the API integration is good. The only issue is that the money hits a dummy GL because TT handle the financials, so there is some impact on your finance folk.
I'm curious what the timeline was like to implement this. How long did it take for the whole process to complete?
