Touch Screen/Interactive tV

Hello all,

We are looking at putting LCD or TV in our lobby that will show customers upcoming shows. Is anyone doing this and are you using a touch screen so it is interactive?

  • Hi Gloria,

We have put two digital screens in our temporary performing space (The Courtyard Theatre) and they run off UK based software from a company called Saturn.  This allows us to programme by day and time what the content is and it can use stills, video, tickers, live stage feed and a combination of all of these things.

It's early days but it is going well for us and we're looking to install digital screens in the new Royal Shakespeare and Swan Theatres when they open later in the year.  We're not using a touch screen though - I'd be interested to hear if you do install touch screens and how you find them.

    Thanks

    Mary

Thank you Mary. We have put this project on hold but when we do implement I’ll let you know what we do.
