Our marketing department wants to be able to pull lists based on interests (actually e-newsletter subscriptions) at the email address level. The use case is that a constituent who is a teacher would want education related emails sent to their work email address, and would want their membership related emails sent to their personal email address. We will be moving from MailChimp to WordFly in the fall, and so are looking at a way to track this in Tessitura. Is anyone doing this?
Thanks for your help!
Yes, we do this at the New York Philharmonic. We use Contact Point Purposes on the individual email addresses for all of our various interest/preference lists. I posted about this here awhile back:

We then use Wordfly to pull in those specific email addresses opted-in to each list.
Let me know if you want more details.
All the best,
Chuck Buchanan
Awesome! Thanks for your earlier post. I see that you are going to be at the conference. I am going to look for you and pick your brain!
Ditto, here at Signature we use the CPPs and also have customized it with Made Media's Blocks office that individuals can update them on the website.
