We are looking at selling a 3 Play Choose Your Own Subscription for next season. The idea is to upgrade single ticket buyers into this and ultimatley into a 6 Play Seated Sub. Is anyone doing this? Are you allowing them to choose their own performances of the 3 productions or locking them into a performance (3rd Friday)? What are the pros and cons?
Thanks for the Help,
Janna Ellis
Sorry this is quite late after your posting but thought I'd chime in.
We offer a Choose 3 package where the patron can select from any of the 2010 concerts - regardless of venue (we're a touring organisation). We did this by creating a specific Choose 3 mode of sale and having website development that meant that in reality the patron is buying a set of 3 concerts as single tickets raather than from a package. The logic of the website demands that the web customer has to have 3 items in their shopping cart before proceeding. The page can be found at http://www.aco.com.au/Default.aspx?url=/choose3.
Happy to offer more details if you like our approach - I'm happy to be contacted directly about this.
