We are looking at selling a 3 Play Choose Your Own Subscription for next season. The idea is to upgrade single ticket buyers into this and ultimatley into a 6 Play Seated Sub. Is anyone doing this? Are you allowing them to choose their own performances of the 3 productions or locking them into a performance (3rd Friday)? What are the pros and cons?
Thanks for the Help,
Janna Ellis
We offer a 3 play “build your own” subscription. We have done this for several years with great success (especially in our telemarketing room). We have a “build your own” full package that has a minimum of 4 shows that is available at the beginning of the subscription campaign and then once the season begins we start offering our 3 show as another option. They can choose any performance that is available. But for best seating we suggest they go with “any Tuesday at 7:30” instead of specific dates. It does convert single ticket buyers into subscribers. But, we don’t always get them back the next year and most of them go into our full build your own subscription (of 4 or more) and not the fixed seat subs.
Good luck!
