How do I resubscribe someone with an unsubscribe response?

I've noticed that when I upload an extraction list to WordFly my email address is not imported due to an unsubscribe response. When I went into my account to reverse it, I couldn't work out what to update. The e-news interest is still ticked and my global mailing preferences have no restrictions. Does anyone know how to rectify this so that WordFly stops blocking the import?

Thanks,

Lydia

  • Another option--the one we use--is to use the override option when importing a list. You'll see it as a drop down sort of selection on the right side when you look at who was not imported due to Unsubscribed status.

We do this with most list/extraction imports. We look at the names in WordFly, then check the record in Tess (the audit trail often is the right spot for this), and then do the override for any addresses that reflect legitimate changes to the preferences.

    Hi Lydia,

If you did the unsubscribe to test the feature in Wordfly then you will need to change it in Wordfly.  Do a Subscriber Search for your email, then select. At the top should be Mailing Status and then change that to receive all mailings.

    Hope this helps.
