I was wondering if anyone is currently using ranking in Tessi. What was entailed in setting this up and has it been of great value to you?

  • Hi-
We use ranking for seating subscriptions. We take into account subscription (full and half/minis at different values), with depreciating values over the years. We also, of course, take their contributions into account, including both amount and length of history, along with things like board participation, planned giving, etc.

It works well for our purposes.  We don't use ranking to access seating allocations at this point.

One great piece of advice we got was to take on the role of Henry Kissinger when bringing departments together to agree on your ranking criteria.  It's going to take some work!

    All the best,
