WealthEngine

Hello,

I've been tasked with researching the WealthEngine integration as possible addition to our system - we're a consortium and use RAMP. Could anyone provide feedback regarding this product, i.e. pros/cons and how it's benefited your organization?  Could you also provide information about the actual integration, i.e. how long did it take and what were the challenges if any?

Thank you,

  • Hi, Shereen:

I am not one of the people who use WealthEngine data in our organization, so I can’t speak to that side of it except to say that I know we like to run lists of people who have tickets to things against a WealthEngine attribute we’ve added to Tessitura (the P2G) to see if there are any attendees whom we didn’t know had, potentially, a high gift capacity. I did the integration, and it went fairly smoothly. I ran a couple of scripts, added an InfoMaker pbl for the custom screen to our local library, and updated a couple of settings in Tessitura.

The only tricky part of the installation was actually importing the data from Wealth Engine into Tessitura. It took a few tries before the provided file was in a format Tessitura could use. WealthEngine support staff were very responsive, though, so getting the data corrected so that I could import it happened quickly.

Setting up WealthEngine in Tessitura took an hour or two, but it was perhaps a week or so after that before I actually got data into the local tables. The web connect custom screen worked immediately after the installation, though.
