Hi, We are a non-profit museum that uses Tess and currently use QuickBooks Online. We have outgrown QB's and are looking at switching accounting software's. Our CFO wanted us to see what others are using as well as our policy requires us to look at 3 different quotes before we can make a request for larger purchases. We have demos set up with Activity HD Accounting Ware and Acumatica. We will need to use this system for PO's, AP, AR, Tess daily reporting as well as memberships/donations, budgeting, FA, and reporting. We know that Tess only integrates with Activity HD and while that would be a great feature it is not as necessary as being able to perform the necessary functions. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

We use NetSuite, which also has an integration with Tessitura (we haven't explored that part yet)
We use ActivityHD, went live October 2022 and love it! The best part is their customer service. I've never had the level of service I get from ActivityHD with any other GL vendor I've used in the past (Microsoft Dynamics SL, Epicor, MAS90, etc.). Because we were going from a system purchased in the late 90s, we were floored by the functionalities, ease of use, and automation that ActivityHD offers. Because they are smaller they also take customer feedback and will help find solutions if you have special processes. The other software we demoed was Sage Intacct. We use the GL, AR, AP, PO, and Bank Reconciliation modules.
Hi, we've just started using ActivityHD effective July 1, and so far we are very pleased with it. We are a non-profit theatre and switched from Dynamics GP.
I'm working heavily in the AP & AR side of it and think the functionality and ease of use are terrific. My boss has had some really good things to say about the integration with Tess and the ability to import GL postings from our Payroll provider. We are still working on getting our reporting pieces in place. I'm also about to tackle the transition of our fixed asset tracking from FixedAssets CS. Like the previous reply, we have been impressed with their customer response and attention.

We use Sage Intacct. It was recommended from our accounting firm. Does it work for what we need? No. Do we like it? No. Will anyone do anything about either of those two things? Also no.
This is such a perfect response hahahaI think we just switched from Sage to Sage Intacct specifically, so I can't wait to learn more about these fine systems :) :) :)
We have been using Acumatica since 2020 and are still learning new things and building it out to this day. I love how highly customizable the system can be, but that can also be overwhelming when you just need to get things moving. The built-in reporting functionality is fine, but we use Velixo, a third-party system that integrates with Acumatica, to do all of our financial reporting in Excel which works wonderfully. Happy to chat about Acumatica further if you have any questions.
We moved to Sage Intacct from Blackbaud Financial Edge in January. We're still learning to use it but it is a vast improvement over Financial Edge and we really like it. We go live with Tessitura in a few weeks and we are looking forward to having two systems that actually talk to each other.
As far as I knew, there wasn't a Tessitura integration with Sage Intacct. Has that changed?
