Tessitura and PayPal

Hi - yes, we're using PayPal, and have been surprised at how popular it's been.  The website uses the PayPal API, customers are sent to the PayPal site to authenticate on desktop, tablet and mobile. and PayPal posts back reference nos. to Tessitura as part of the Checkout Ex3 call.

cons:

• PayPal charge high transaction charges unless you convince them you're a not-for-profit
• It's a bore trying to convince PayPal that you're a not-for-profit

Another pro: This morning we experienced an outage in debit/credit card payment processing. We were able to put a splash screen up on the site explaining this and encouraging people to try PayPal instead.
