Can or how do you reopen a closed user batch? A check entry is wrong.

Thanks,

Mike

    Hi Mike,

Once a batch has been closed it cannot be reopened.  We've found that the best course of action for us is to have the person in charge of gift entry open a new batch and use the Check Adjustment payment type to fix whatever error was made.  We then post both batches together, using the same posting number.

    Hope this helps!

  • I open a new batch a do an entry adjustment. Adjustments are in the Contributions documentation.
