Keying Card Numbers at FOH

Hi Caspian,

The chip and pin devices will ask you to swipe the card if it doesn’t have a chip, although you will have to insert it first. We have Tessitura set to print two receipts and get the customer to sign one of them.

We use chip and pin devices at front of house, however some cards do not have a chip. Is there a way to do a customer present keyed transaction using a chip and pin terminal? Is anyone else doing this? Our chip and pin terminals do not have a receipt printer so we cannot use this to obtain a signature prior to authorization... can this be done through Tessitura?
