Hey all -
So, we use the ticket order screen to sell our education classes and I am hoping to modify the standard print order receipt to include additional language (cancellation policy, name of student taking the class (from the Special Request), etc) and wonder if anyone can tell me how I can accomplish this.
Thanks!

Hi Ellie –
We accomplish this using a custom invoice report that also writes an ‘acknowledgement’ event to the order history. I am happy to arrange for it to be shared, if you’d like! Your IT/DBA staff will need to help you implement & customize it.
Feel free to shoot me an e-mail off-list if you’d like more info!

You can also design a new receipt in the Ticket Design editor which is found in the Ticketing Setup module. Not sure if all of the elements are standard but you might be able to create a custom ticket element if necessary. Whoever sets up your performances is probably familiar with Ticket Design.

This is so helpful! Patrick - I will be in touch soon.
Elizabeth - I checked out the Ticket Design and to me it looks like it is for actual tickets. Can this also be used for emailed receipts?
The ticket design I was writing about is intended for actual tickets. Didn’t realize that you were looking for something to email – sounds like the acknowledgement would be the way to go – unless you use print at home tickets. (We don’t so I’m on unknown ground here.) I think you can have a great deal of flexibility with print at home tickets.
