Hello everyone!
I have an in-kind gift which was entered incorrectly. For example, the original entry is that XYZ & Co. gave $3000 in-kind to a fall program. Turns out the amount was supposed to be $1,000. What would other devo offices do in this case?

Hi Marie,
If you process in-kind similar to how you process gifts then you probably want to simply refund the difference to whatever payment method you use for in-kind giving.
You can find more information about "refund adjustment" in the contribution processing documentation.
Thank you Ryan. I thought that might be the way to handle it, but I wanted to check with the other Tess organizations to see if I completely off or possibly missed something in the process.
Is there any reason why I would not refund the entire gift and then re-enter it with the correct amount?

Either way should be fine.
