I'm curious - does anyone use Tessitura to track committees? If so, how?
I'd like to create dummy records representing each committee - I believe it would be more centralized and easier to maintain than an attribute, and would potentially allow for additional information and data regarding the committee to be added under the committee record itself.

Our board of directors and several committees are separate group accounts to which members are affiliated. The board account is also associated to our main company account. All board and committee accounts are a separate customer type called “boards and committees” to allow us to keep them out of mailings, etc. This works very well for tracking board and committee membership because the relationships have beginning and end dates, room for a title, and a place for notes and comments.
We have an update procedure that runs frequently and assigns constituencies to board members based on an active affiliation to the board account.
