I had a list of gifts that I needed to adjust. All of them worked out fine except one.
For some reason in the contribution editor when I hit the adjust button, the gift I need to adjust is not listed. When I look in the constituent's giving history I can see the gift.
Does anyone have any ideas why a gift would not be listed as adjustable?
I see this happen most frequently when the gift was created in a ticket order. I would check the orders tab to see if it lives there. The gift can't be adjusted through the contribution editor, but some changes can be made in the order. Depending on what changes you need to make, it might make sense to zero out the contribution in the order, put the money to on account, and add a new contribution with the on account funds.
