re-adjusting an adjusted pledge

I’m not sure this is even possible, but throwing this question out to my devo colleagues…

I adjusted a pledge for a full-time employee who was making payroll deductions to our annual fund campaign to equal those deductions already made.  What I didn’t realize is that this person is still working for us on a part-time, show only basis and is continuing her deductions for pay periods she has worked.

Is there any way to re-adjust back to the original pledge amount so we can add new payments into gift batch?  Or will I need to set up a new pledge for the remaining payments?

Any help is most appreciated.  Thanks!
Julie

  • Have you looked at the Contributions help documents in Tess or online? They have been very helpful for me. I have only reduced pledges and not increased them...I remember something about an adjustment to increase the pledge. However I don't know if you can increase a pledge after you have decreased it. Go to HELP and type contribution...the entire contribution help doc will come up and you can find the chapter that has to do with adjustments. Hope that helps.

  • Marie,

Thanks for the tip. I'd reviewed this before I reached out to the forum, but must have overlooked it. I'll give this a shot. Thanks again.
