Add Attribute To List

Help!  I'm having trouble adding an attribute and not losing another.  I'm using Add Attribute To List whereas the attribute itself already exists with one attribute value and the attribute I'm adding I'm using a different value. However, after I add the new attribute I then go into the account and the prior attribute value is no longer there.  It's as if I'm overwriting one to add the other but I need both values to be on the account.

Please let me know if you know what I'm doing wrong!  :)

Thanks so much,

Nancy

  • To my knowledge, Add Attributes to List is a shared report.  I would recommend using the standard utility, Manage Attributes, which can be found under the Data Management category.

    Jonathan, Caryl and others,

Thanks for the reply.  The multiple values is checked and oddly I can add the same attribute with different value on the account manually but whenever I use the Add Attribute To List report, it is still overwriting it.  Any other suggestions?

Have you made sure that the attribute allows multiple values against the same attribute? You can check this in t_keyword (and the check box is over to the right hand side Multiple Value needs to be checked to allow multiple values to the same attribute).
