batch help

I was working on a batch yesterday and closed it, but did not post it. Now today, I can’t find it in the closed batches and when I do a search by batch number, I get a message that says I can’t view the batch because I am not the owner of the batch. I am indeed the owner and the only one who generates gift batches.

Does anyone have an idea about how to bring up this closed batch?

Thanks-

  • Hi Janine!

I’m guessing that someone else at your organization who regularly posts batches took over ownership and posted it without realizing it was yours.

  • It sounds like someone who has access to take ownership of batches (possibly your DBA or whoever posts batches at your organisation) has seen an open or held batch and taken ownership of it themselves, possibly to post it. The user name of that person should now show as the owner of the batch. I would contact them to find out the reason why they took ownership and then contact your DBA who should be able to help you to sort out the issue.
