I am reaching out to see if anyone else uses Tessitura to track Grants for their organization. We are looking into finding the best way to do this and would love to hear what others have done!

In addition to Rose's excellent leads, I wanted to reach out and offer myself as a sounding board if helpful. I am both our grants person and the Tessitura configuration person for Development, so very happy to game out what might be organic to the (likely) systems your team is already using.

I'd like to connect with y'all and learn from Kate Welham and others. Specifically, I am interested in (from my recent post):
Being a newbie to Tessitura, I want to learn how to make Tess sing for institutional grants. Particularly, I want to learn from others and the best practices to manage institutional grant deliverables and revenue projections within Tessitura. I do not see a Community Group\Topical devoted to Development\Institutional Grants. Is there demand and interest from Devo staff, and hopefully with savvy IT staff tutelage, to brainstorm, identify, document, and reveal best grants management practices for institutional grants using Tessitura. If so, let's do it. Together! Who wants to form such a group?
I'd be happy to join. Some of my institutional giving theatre colleagues here in NYC were talking about convening a zoom to discuss this topic specifically, so I may be able to recruit some other interested people. Kate is a real pro though! I'm just fumbling but we have worked out some systems that work for us, largely thanks to our Operations Director Corri. I could see if she is willing to join; she's active in the Tess community locally.

Knowing that there are likeminded individuals who are exploring opportunities to enhance institutional grants management by identifying, documenting, implementing, and honing Tessitura and grants management best practices is music to my ears. I'll reach out to you via phone today or tomorrow and explore how we can ignite and sustain such a group so that we can add value to not only our shops, but also to our community by streamlining and reducing labor costs while implementing dynamic uses of Tessitura.

Yay, Kate. I shared with Katy that I'd call her and explore launching such a group. Knowing that you are interested to share your knowlege and expertise with me and others is the traction that I'm looking to find. Here in Houston, Richard Jackson is a Tessitura authority. So having heavy hitters like you and Richard to help identify best practices is phenomenal. I'll circle back after connecting with Katy.
