We are looking for a way to take instant donations at small donor events. We do have TNEW but are looking more for a "one click" type option. Not looking at Venmo, Paypal, etc, we're wondering what everyone else uses. Donate2 looks nice, but I'd love to get ideas from this team, before I spend hours down a bunch of rabbit holes. If it works well, we'll use it at larger events down the road, like the Gala and actual shows so something like a $5k max per week will not work long term for us.

At Imagination Stage, we use GiveLively. Like Jim Reynolds said, it's free and has a text-to-donate option. We set up GiveLively for our online gala and it did the trick really well in providing options for two-click donations: users go to a page containing your messaging and an optional picture, select their donation amount, and then enter payment info on the next screen. It sends them an automatic email you set up in advance and they take care of the tax-acknowledgement. It also takes payment via google and apply pay, which pairs really well with texting-to-give.
We found that almost a third, if I remember correctly, chose to give via apple/google pay,and about half used the text-to-donate feature during the event.
