Wealth Engine - Express Screening - Tessitura Import

Hi everyone -

I did an initial EXPRESS screening in Wealth Engine on February 21st.  I have been having a terrible time trying to get that information imported into Tessitura.  Based on what Wealth Engine has told me, they are unable to format the export for Tessitura import/upload because I did an express screening (as opposed to a batch screening where an actual human looks at the data).

Has anyone else done an Express Screening and been able to use one of the pre-designed export templates to get the information into Tessitura?  I have a support ticket open for this, but they've just said that the information in the files I'm trying to import (directly downloaded from Wealth Engine) is different than what is normally used in the procedure and in a different order.

Any help is appreciated!!

Thanks!

  • Hi Kari and Courtney -

I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulty with one of our ecosystem partners. We always expect the highest service and response from our ecosystem partners, and have reached out to Wealth Engine on your behalf to get attention to these matters.

We really appreciate you raising the flag on issues such as these, and please continue to do so!

Just an FYI for you, we've also built a new Ecosystem forum that we've invited partners to participate in. It's new and in its nascent stage, but I'm hoping it will provide a place for people with like Ecosystem use (e.g. WealthEngine) to be able to converse.

In the meantime, as you've figured out I believe batch screening is the only officially supported method to get the files you need to match the current Wealth Engine import utility. I'll let you know if we find out differently.

    Best,

    Heather

  • Heather,

Thank you for clarifying this.  It is entirely possible that I missed this in the documentation regarding the integration, but I do not remember seeing anything that stated a batch screening was the only supported method.  Would it be possible to request an update to the documentation so that it is clearly stated?

    Thanks!

  • Perhaps this is the new standard, but as recently as October we did an Express Screening, reached out to their customer service and were provided a Tessitura import file. I just think they have some internal issues at the moment. I still haven’t heard anything back for our file. For our summer appeal, I ended up downloading the data from the express screening and using vlookup to merge with the donor/prospect spreadsheet we were working with. Not the best outcome considering the time they’ve had to fix the issue, but at least we could still use the data.
