How do other organizations note name changes? For example, if a patron changes a name on a subscription form, our Box Office will change the name in their record, which will affect the general salutation, but not other salutations. So when Development is preparing a mailing, they'll sometimes notice that the gensal is different from their Devo salutation, but won't know why. How do other organizations indicate the context for name changes in Tessitura?

We use CSIs to track the reason for name and address changes in the general tab. We have a CSI category of Customer Request with activity types of Name Change and Address Change.
We require the person making the change not only say what the change was, but also who requested the change/why the change is being made.
