Would anyone know a best practice for generating year-end tax receipts? We just migrated over to Tessitura in May and so I'm new to the system. So far I've only been able to find reports that pull straight gifts and "total gifts" seems to only include straight gifts as well, but the reports don't include pledge payments in the total giving amounts. What are some of the best ways you've found to generate these letters? Thanks!
Hi Taylor - I usually run the Fund Activity Report in the Finance folder, then save to Excel, then insert a pivot table to condense the data. It's a bit of spreadsheet-work, but it's been a decent system for me.
