Hello!
Does anyone have experience using TNEW for non-paid event ticketing? Would you recommend using it? We're thinking of using it for an event that's a donor benefit as a way of tracking who attends, rsvps, etc.
Hi Michael,
We (well, the school) has used it for open house trial class (free) signups. Seems to work pretty well.
Cheers,
Michaela
Thanks Michaela. Are you finding all of the information accurate and easy to find in Tessitura? One of the roadblocks we are facing is that high level donors will be getting this invite and we'd rather not force them to have to create a Tessitura log-in to RSVP. It will also be complicated for organizations, such as foundations and corporate sponsors, that get invited as well.
Our free trial class registration does require login, its really the only way we to connect the registrants to a household in the database. Like I was mentioning to Marie, if you are on WordFly (or I think Prospect2 as well) perhaps investigating their forms & pages.
We don't use this right now (although I have been investigating it) so if we wanted to do an RSVP with no sign in to Tessitura I would build a form in my CMS and drop it into a discrete page on our site, then do a manual update in Tessitura CSIs for those that it matters for. Otherwise we would have a nice excel guest list for the event.
Sorry I can't help more.
Thanks! We're using MailChimp so it's a no go on Word Fly or Prospect 2. It sounds like we'll have to do this manually.
