Hello!
Does anyone have experience using TNEW for non-paid event ticketing? Would you recommend using it? We're thinking of using it for an event that's a donor benefit as a way of tracking who attends, rsvps, etc.
Kansas City Ballet Development Department is also looking at creating online forms for RSVPs. Would anyone be willing to share a link to your form? We would love to take a look at what you have created. :-)
Thanks,
Marie

Marie, do you use WordFly? They have something called "pages" which might help with this specific need. The trial classes we do require a registration for a free event so it's not exactly a form.

I think you can even link it up to Tessitura https://support.wordfly.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001088443-How-to-setup-Tessitura-responses-for-Pages
Cheers,

We do use WordFly. I believe that my Director of Marketing has been chatting with WordFly about extending the function of "Pages" to include a tie-back to the Tessitura record connected with the email account which received the email.
If you are using pages, are you able to link to the Tess records or do an export/import of the RSVPs back into Tess?? If so, how often are you doing the export/import? Or are you using WordFly Pages as an additional mode of collection and thus a separate tracking from Tess? Lastly, do you put the RSVPs into Tess as Activities and/or Elevated Event Attendance at all?
Hi Marie,
We do not currently use pages, it is functionality I've been looking into, I suggested it as it just seemed to fit your question better than the free trial class registration we do in TNEW. My understanding from what I have read (the second article I included) is that yes, you can get this information back into Tessitura.
Sorry I can't be more help in that direction.

At the moment, we are looking at creating an online form for RSVPs which will then send a "receipt" to the customer/invitee and then a copy to our rsvp@kcballet.org email account. Although I assume he has exhausted this, I have sent the link about WordFly pages going back into Tess to my Mktg Director. Thanks for the info.
It’s possible our registration concept might work for you. Let me see if I can create an example for you (minus the custom validations we have in place for age validation & waivers) so you can see how we can set it up in TNEW.
Just as a heads up, to my knowledge, the link-back to Tess records from is not yet complete. WordFly is still working on this functionality. So to see the RSVPs through WordFly's pages, you will need to access the WordFly responses/reports from within WordFly, then manually record the information into Tess. I have heard that this functionality will be available sometime soon.
Thanks for checking into that Marie!
