Tax receipting donate for resale

Hello,

We currently process ticket donations by placing the money on account for Development to process and tax receipt. We are wondering how organizations generate an acknowledgement and tax receipt no when using the donate for resale functionality from the ticket order screen?

    My box office returns/donates the tickets for resale. Then those tickets and accounts appear on the Donated Seats Report. I run that report, save to excel and mail merge my donation letters. (In this case, Development is issuing tax letters, but not receiving the money from the Box Office.)
