Worker.Suffix Error Message Cannot Create Worker with Inactive Suffix

Good Afternoon--Need help on Worker Setup error message, cause, and how to fix

Has anyone seen this error message and found a way to fix it?

Cannot Create Worker with Inactive Suffix (Worker.Suffix)

The worker in question has been set up in:

Tessitura Security module (we tried User Type, and Both ),

and has her Constituent ID entred as the Worker ID,

and the Worker Type is set to the same as the other workers at the organization.

  • Hey Dot,

You are a genius!!!—that is literally what the error message points to—but, on the constituent record, it looks like the Suffix is blank currently.  It turns out, we have two rows for the blank suffix, one is active, the other inactive.  Once I changed the suffix to the active choice, we were able to complete the Worker Setup on the plans tab.

Thanks again, Dot. You may take the rest of the week off!

    Hey Laura,

Just a starting point and shooting from the hip…  check the worker’s Tessitura record.  Is there an inactive suffix used there?
