I have a entry question: we normally Deposit higher amount donations directly into QuickBooks...but their personal info...name address etc...in Tessitura with a new Development person coming in...she wants to pull up the constituents in Tessitura and see the donations... we are looking for a way to keep those deposits going into QuickBooks but also adding them into the contribution tab in tessitura to collect the dollar amount as DATA WITHOUT it hitting the bank account a second time... any suggestions?

    Thanks I was telling them the only way is to take the actual payment thru Tessitura...sounds good.

    Use/Create different Payment Method perhaps.   This would also let you reconcile between Tessitura and Quickbooks – right?

    One way to do this is to create a new payment method that will not charge their card.

     

    Also, if quickbooks is your first entry, there may be a reporting and importing function from Quickbooks to Tess. You might check with your DBA or Tess Consulting.
