Hello everyone. We're looking for a way to record and track gifts that we make to donors/prospects. For example, if we send someone a bouquet to thank them for hosting an event for us it would be great to have that recorded on Tess. We'd love to know if anyone out there is doing this at the moment or if anyone has recommendations for how best we might do it ourselves? We look forward to learning from the Community. I can definitely think of a few ways to track this.
If you have an active Plan for the constituent, you could create a Plan Step and record when you do one of these "surprise and delight" efforts and have that saved in their ongoing record.
If they're not being tracked in a Plan, you could use the Research tab and add it to the record under the Notes radio button.
You could also use the Connections tab and enter it under the Customer Service radio button.
I personally track these through Plans, but if there's one thing about Tessitura, it's that there are many ways to keep track of something based on what works best for you.

Yes! Lots of different ways. Another thought that comes to mind is under the History tab / Activities. You could list the date that you made a delivery, the type of activity/delivery/category, who made the delivery under worker, it's also got a freeform area to type any additional information. Just another thought!
The reporting of this is done through a report in the Development folder called Patron Activity Report. You can also bulk add if you needed to through a utility in the Data Management folder called Manage Special Activity.
I imagine that this could be an attribute or a research note type.
Both can be pulled via a report in order to review at any time.
