Custom Appeal Summary Report

We are using the Revenue by Source and Appeal report (from the Campaign & Appeal folder) to evaluate the performance of individual membership appeals. It works great for us, provides the right kind of information.

Has anyone created a custom report that provides the same kind of information (total counts, total responses, total dollars raised, etc.), but in summary for all appeals? In other words, each and every one of your appeals are listed and the performance of each summarized, rather than detailing granular source code performance.

Thanks.

  • Hi Jeremy,

Maybe I’m not understanding what you are asking, but the Revenue by Source and Appeal report already lists a summary for each appeal on the report and will list all appeals that had activity as long as you don’t select an appeal for the Appeal parameter (which is an optional parameter).  There is also a total for all appeals listed at the very end of the report.  If you set the Source Detail parameter to Source Group it will group sources instead of listing each individual source.  And if you set the Appeal Detail parameter to Appeal, you’ll get one grouping for each appeal.  The only thing you can’t do is select more than one campaign.  So you will see the results of all appeals that brought in money for the one campaign you selected but you can’t see the results of all appeals across multiple campaigns.
