Custom Appeal Summary Report

We are using the Revenue by Source and Appeal report (from the Campaign & Appeal folder) to evaluate the performance of individual membership appeals. It works great for us, provides the right kind of information.

Has anyone created a custom report that provides the same kind of information (total counts, total responses, total dollars raised, etc.), but in summary for all appeals? In other words, each and every one of your appeals are listed and the performance of each summarized, rather than detailing granular source code performance.

Thanks.

  • Hey Jeremy,

I like using the Campaign Revenue Report for this purpose, too, but with the “Appeal Type, Appeal, List” grouping, so you can see the number of responses per source. Unfortunately, the bit of information this report is lacking out of the box is the total number of contacts, against which you can compare the responses, but minimal customization could include that info.

    Hi Jeremy!

Have you tried the Campaign Revenue report?  If you run this with grouping Appeal Type, Appeal, that might be handy.  You do have to run this for a single campaign, but you will get all appeals toward that campaign.

    Thanks!
