Does anyone have a good way of pulling donors by their final pledge payment date? I'm looking for a way to know what "monthly" (sometimes it isn't precisely monthly) donors will have completed their pledge soon and are ready to be solicited for renewal. I can't necessarily pull by gift date either, because our pledges last anywhere from 4-12 months from what I've observed so far.
I've jerry-rigged a way to extract the folks I want for now, but if anyone has a fancy bit of SQL I'd be much obliged.
In our acknowledgement report we added the field "Contribution Balance" so we can easily see whose pledges completed.

Hi Katie!
Could you use the Yearly Cash Planning report to get at this information? It displays billing schedules across the months. Although, you wouldn't necessarily be able to filter by folks whose final payment is in a given month, it should be clear, for the folks pulled, which month their schedule ends with.
Hope this helps!
Nick
The Yearly Cash Planning report may work for this. Check it out! It is an Out-Of-The-Box report.

The Pledge Receivable Report by Period report lets you see which pledges are due in the current period (you can choose from Month, Quarter, or Fiscal Year), the Next Period, or after the Next Period. It also shows what’s past due. We use this report in our monthly billing process.

Michael
I am so glad the Yearly Cash Report will be helpful to you. I used in more ways than I could imagined after we created at the Met. Now in another organization it is serving me again and surprising others that the info is available.
There are 2 things this underlines - -1) Do a review of all the reports you find in the folders. See if you can see a use for them in your organization or merely make not a report that does X exists - you might need it later. Or is seeing the functionality it might illustrate that part of the coding. For instance if you find the report that moves the unused gift card balances to an On-Account type. I saw that several years back and immediately realized that the next step was a report that move On-Account funds in bulk and like a billing batch assign an acknowledgement per the fund and list used. The Met Opera has had this function for the last 4-5 years - -would it help you?
2) With the Users Conference coming up maybe it would be a good time to share with your colleagues the reports you use or have at your site. This too could open the doors to reports that exist or could exist will a little coordination or sharing.
Just a thought
With the users conference coming up, this is
