Attachment not saving to Step

This is the kind of problem I hate because i can't find anything solid to correct.  What we have is the failure for certain documents (PDF or DOC) to save to a Step.  We have been able to get other documents to attach BUT not the right one.   It is not the size, or characters in the name.  I've saved the PDF to an earlier version of WORD but still nothing seems to work.

We have been able to attach documents to other Plan Steps in other records.

Any ideas?

  • That would be wonderful -- next best thing is if the other sites that have this problem but didn’t post it because they thought it was “them” .   This has to be happening at other sites and if we could all raise our hand maybe someone at network could take pity on us and experiment.

I never encountered this in just saving documents under research so my theory is there is something is Step programming/order of things.

Damn.  Was hoping for a shiny solution wrapped up with a bow!  Ah, well.

    Thank you.

No --- and it did happen again ---BUT then we got it to work.  This seems to be one of those “oddities” that you can’t easily document for a fix.

Sorry you are having the same problem but happy it that it is not just us.

    Thanks,
