RSVP program

The Houston Symphony is interested in knowing if anyone uses an online RSVP system that connects to Tessitura.  We want to provide our patrons with the ability to reply to an invitation via a website, and then upload the data into Tessitura.

If so, what is the name of the program?   How does it update Tess?  How well does it work?

Thank you,

Jan LaRocque

  • We use mail2 - and we're very happy with the RSVP functionality.  It integrates well with Tessitura and updates Activities in real time.  If the "Manage Special Activities" utility has been used to add the Activity to a List of people but someone other than a person on the List replies, it adds the activity to the constituent record.  If you have a DBA, you can update the stored procedure behind the functionality to offer a range of responses - rather than "Yes" or "No" to the "Are you attending...?" question.  mail2 also offers you the ability to collect other data such as the number of attendees and notes (which we often use for dietary requirements, etc).
