Who all is shutdown and for how long?

Here at LSC, staff have just been notified, and we have notified customers, that we are shut down for the rest of March.

I've seen articles in the press that the MET Museum and MET Opera are shutdowns.  This is likely related to New Yorks shutting down of gatherings of more than 500.  https://gothamist.com/arts-entertainment/cuomo-shuts-down-broadway-limits-public-gatherings-under-500-people

  • Seattle Children's Theatre announced Friday we will cancel all performances and classes through the end of May.  We are closing our offices as well, but going in Monday to learn more specifics.  I assume they will keep on a couple staff to handle all of the customer service.  We were supposed to have early bird subscriptions go on sale 3/9 but wisely postponed...I assume there will be some rearrangement of shows next season, as one of our upcoming productions will be postponed to next season.  We also had a couple touring shows scheduled and with the uncertainty of the ability for those to travel it might be wise to rethink those shows.  This is so unlike anything we've ever experienced.  Hang in there everyone!
