Who all is shutdown and for how long?

Here at LSC, staff have just been notified, and we have notified customers, that we are shut down for the rest of March.

I've seen articles in the press that the MET Museum and MET Opera are shutdowns.  This is likely related to New Yorks shutting down of gatherings of more than 500.  https://gothamist.com/arts-entertainment/cuomo-shuts-down-broadway-limits-public-gatherings-under-500-people

  • What is everyone doing regarding hourly employees?

  • We are at UW in Seattle and have closed our office. We are working from home as much as we possibly can while managing cancellations through March. We created a google form that was included in the email about the cancellations that offers patrons the options to donate, credit, exchange, refund. We are driving all traffic online or email if they need assistance. We expanded our Ticket Office Email checking hours and permanent staff signed up to take shifts to manage the account while also checking the google form responses and working on other projects. This insures they are getting their hourly pay. We don't have phone hours anymore so periodically staff that are available come into the closed office to contact patrons for credit cards in order to handle the refunds since we don't store the cc numbers.
