Hi All
We've started to use triggered e-mails for our pre and post show e-mails. For the pre-show we would like to include the performance date they are attending. But it's coming out American stylee!
Does anyone know how I get around this? It's Saturday night and I've spent the entire afternoon trying to work it out to no avail.
Cheers
Lee-Anne
Sorry, I've realised need to be more clear when I mean "it's coming out American style!"
The output set has a field named "Performance Date" which I built using the local ticket history view. The date format is dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss . When it's pulled through to Wordfly, it Americanises it so that, for example, the 6 March 2016 become 3 June 2016.
Have you set up a custom data Field in WordFly to put the date in the format you want or have you done that and it is still changing it?
Caryl
Hi Caryl
I have set-up a custom field and tried most date formats as I did think it was the format. Nothing works. I have just this moment tried the field without any formatting, it comes through as yyyy/dd/mm thh:mm:ss. So while it looks it in the UK format before it leaves Tessitura it appears to be converted somewhere.
Thanks
Is the date converted to UK format in the SQL using the convert function e.g. CONVERT(VARCHAR(11),GETDATE(),103) if so and it isn't working I'd open a support ticket with WordFly.
Sorry for being a bit dim but whereabouts it in the SQL? This is my first time using Wordfly so am a bit clueless to all this.
Edit: I've worked out where the SQL should go. Being not only a Wordfly novice but an Output set novice is not helping my cause. It's not working.
Thanks for your help Caryl.
I solved my problem by changing the custom data field in Wordfly to a text field instead of date.
