ANZTRUC 2011

Hi all

We have been looking at holding the Australia and New Zealand Tessitura Regional Users Conference in Melbourne over 1/1/2 -2 days on Mon 21-Tue 22 Feb. According to feedback after ANZTRUC 2010 most organisations felt this timing worked. However, these dates lead into the Ticketing Professionals Conference dates, which are 23-25 Feb in Brisbane.

What we need to know is -

Will you have to choose between these two conferences? If so, will ANZTRUC be your choice?

How many people from your organisation will attend ANZTRUC 2011?

Any other feedback/comments appreciated.

Thanks

Trace

  • Hi Kevin

Sounds good. Yes we definitely want to spend time on t-stats and so far have pegged it as part of the data segmentation user session but if we had someone from JCA coming or if someone would put their hands up for running one we would certainly look at including a workshop.

    Thanks

    hi Tracey,

We're hopeful of sending at least 2 people to ANZTRUC 2011 but, I don't feel I can make any proposition to my general manager until the workshop schedule is more certain, even if it means missing out on the early bird registration fee.

We wouldn't consider the Ticketing Professional Conference in Brisbane as that falls on our opening weekend for the year - that's all hands on deck for us.

Has there been much interest in a T-Stats workshop?

    cheers,

    Kev

  • If noone from JCA will be there, I'd be willing to present a workshop on T-Stats.  It would depend on what people were hoping to get out of it.  Our consortium has had T-Stats for a few months so I don't have a lot of real-world examples yet.  But I went through the JCA training with each organization (4 in all) so I've got a good handle on the nuts and bolts of how to get things done in T-Stats.  I've also been working with the users to clean up some of their setup and business practices to take more advantage of what T-Stats can do.

  • Huge thanks to everyone who helped put on ANZTRUC2011.  As Jack said, you have truly set the bar for regional conferences. And for letting me crash the party.  It was a great two days and as always, I walked away a smarter Tess user.
