Analytics Season Level Start/On-Sale Date

We would love a season level start/on-sale date and relative milestone anchor to order dates in Analytics. When tracking revenue progress toward goals YOY we need to track each season in weeks, all starting at 0, where 0 is the first on-sale week of that season. However, each year we have a different on-sale date for subscriptions. I've tried the "Order Weeks Prior to Performance" and "Seat Order Date Base Value" and they are not giving me what I want.

Thanks!

  • Wow, amazing dedication finding a solution! Yes, going through performances one-by-one can be tedious. I'm hoping Tessitura will be able to set up something by Campaign Start Date, as we have a unique campaign for our subscribers that we could be really precise on. Right now it's more important for us to have the dollar amounts as we're trying to predict subscriber behavior compared to previous years by revenue percent-to-goal week by week.

  • I think pulling this from the Campaign or Title would be best for us. Right now we set Season Start Date in system tables to the beginning of our fiscal fear, not actual sale dates. Our Campaigns and Titles should be more accurate. I'd love for it to be pulling one value (easier to fix if it's a little messy in our build) rather than pulling from all of the Performance On-Sales.

  • I am not sure if this is the same thing, but I tried to get the same thing for my packages and have the same thing, various start dates between seasons. I did have to go through every performance associated with the season and set the default start date to the first date of renewals (for one of my groups, that was 130 performances since Default State Date is not a field in Season Maintenance). I included the Widget Filters for SLI Status to exclude my unpaid subs and with Packages to exclude Zero Package to get rid of anything associated with an exchange. This does not give me revenue or number of packages, but it does give me unique accounts over time with a common) start date.

  • , do you think that the existing Season Start Date would be a good place to record season start dates, or do you think that the Seasons' related Campaigns' start dates are already representative this, or given that we have a Performance On-sale Date in Analytics that it should be the earliest of this date within each Season that represents the Season level on-sale date?
