Women in Tech LinkedIn Article

Good morning, all!

This article came across my LinkedIn this morning and it felt like a good one to share.

Happy Thursday!

Parents
  • I liked the bit about women being capable of more in 8 hours than men because we juggle so much in our daily lives. Especially those of use who are parents. I often feel like my brain is holding more than my husband's but it also sometimes makes it hard to focus.

  • To be honest, that part didn't thrill me. "Celebrating" that women are forced to do twice as much as men is just selling sexist inequality back to us with a positive spin. I'd rather be viewed as an ordinary human with ordinary abilities who needs support networks like everyone else, than as a superwoman.

(To be clear, I'm not yelling at you - I'm mentally yelling at Liliia Lykho's male team lead for his terrible attempt at weaponized incompetence.)
