Hello!
Our facility comprises 4 different buildings with exhibits, all surrounding a central courtyard. This courtyard has been behind a gate with ticket sales happening at the gate. We are considering removing those gates and having the courtyard open to the public, while taking ticket sales inside one or more of the buildings. I was wondering if any of you would have recommendations on how you have managed having multiple access points to your facilities? Are there any technologies you are using that connect with Tessitura and make for a better guest experience? It would not be cost effective for us to have each entrance to each of our buildings manned by a staff person controlling access.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
Hello! We have multiple entrance points and currently have a ticketing desk at each one. However, people used to be able to walk into one of our courtyards directly from the street before entering any buildings. We had signage at the doors to let people know that they needed to get a ticket before proceeding to the exhibitions. There was then a staff member at tne entrance to the exhibitions who would check for a ticket or sticker and if people didn't have one, they were directed back to the welcome center.Anne RobichauxThe Historic New Orleans Collection
