I'm wondering if any of you, that are using one the apps from Appscension or Cuseum, would be willing to share your experiences - the good, the great, otherwise & the learnings you have from your journeys so far?

We've spent a ton of time with the Appscension app and have made great progress. They have been great to work with. Spencer Gregory is our digital content manager and could give you some great information. We'd love your feedback too if you want to download and look. This is from our Membership Manager, regarding our Cuseum integration:
"Implementation was a simple process, and we were able to adapt the cards to be scanned in for entry which was huge. Only about 20% of members installed the cards, so physical cards are still widely preferred by our members. We only have the basic package from them, so we aren’t utilizing some of the more advanced features, such as push notifications or renewal reminders. We have run into issues with expiration dates not updating accordingly, upgraded categories, name changes, etc. despite reaching out to support and following their directions, so the integration with Tessitura isn’t as seamless as I wish it could be. With Tessitura launching their own digital cards, I’d be cautious to push anyone to a third party at this point."

It's too long of a story to share here, but I can share that Shedd found working with them to be unpleasant for several reasons.That said, I am one of the few people who was able to add a test membership card to my Google Wallet, and it looks exactly how we wanted it to look and says what we wanted it to say. So your mileage may vary.

Our marketing team are the ones asking - they are looking to try help loyalty sign ups with way finding & discovering what is happening when they are visiting etc but yes I do agree with your orgs view about the digital cards.
