Hello All!
Not a Tessitura question, but, we are looking to revamp our audio tour experience. I was wondering what brands are being used and what materials are you putting on it? We are hoping to turn ours into more than just an audio tour with only audio files and create something that is more of a multi media experience. And maybe improve sales along the way.
Or has everyone gone to an APP?
Thanks in advance!
Pam
We use Guide ID & we love them! Guests can use our device or their phones either with the Guide ID app or their website.
In my previous life in an Art Museum we used Antenna Audio - this was back in the day when you were given the little transmitter device and a headset. Operationally, it was very cumbersome and in these days of COVID, definitely a shared device is not what you want to do. I realize this is not much help, but just chiming in to say go for the App - stay away from the shared headset!
Hi Pam - We currently use Antenna (both audio and multi-media tours). Since it is unsafe to use the typical devices we have (audio wands and handset multi-media), we worked with them to move our audio tours to an online platform so that guests can scan a QR code and download our tour options to their own device. We are currently not using the multi-media tour, which includes photographs, maps, audio content, and additional features.
