Hello!
The guidance in MA recommends offering special hours or accommodations for high-risk visitors. Are any other organizations doing this? If so, what are you offering and how much demand are you seeing for this? Are you doing anything special to set it up in Tessitura (new performance, phone only holds, etc.) or just using messaging and the honor system?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Annie
We did this at the Dallas Zoo based on recommendations from the City. We didn't want to get into the messy business of validating "high-risk" so we just messaged it online and in the know before you go email we sent in advance of visitors. We offered the first two hours of the day on Tuesdays (8-10 am) and saw very little demand while other timeslots were regularly selling out. We reopened at the end of May and stopped offering them at the end of June.
One note, we had several older adults who were bothered when they arrived to see children in attendance. If we had continued to offer them, we would have worked to clarify this messaging.
Best of luck with your reopening!
This is very helpful. Thank you!
